Added Lake Placid to 1999, where it moves into a distant second place behind The Sixth Sense. It'a an enjoyable movie, but it helps that the rest of the field (four movies and two books, currently) is solidly bland to bad.

Added Edge of Darkness to 2010, which is about on par with the only other film currently reviewed for that year, Green Zone -- though that isn't saying much.
Added Rosemary's Baby, the book, to 1967 (so as not to make a lie out of my previous post); it now towers over its competition for the year.
For what it's worth, The Seventh Victim is on the Church of Satan's "Satanic Sources - Film List"; the list itself was "approved by Magus Anton Szandor LaVey." A few other films currently reviewed on KinoLivres are also on the list: Curse of the Demon (as Night of the Demon), Death Wish, and The Stepford Wives (1975).
The Church of Satan also has a book list, similarly approved by LaVey, of both fiction and non-fiction. Only one book on the list, however, is currently reviewed here, and it's a no-brainer: Rosemary's Baby. (Strangely, despite inclusion of the film, Ira Levin's The Stepford Wives is not listed.) Added The Seventh Victim to 1943. Only two entries at the moment (the other being Laura by Vera Caspary), but a very strong year.
Frankenstein Created Woman gets booted from the top spot for this year with the addition of the flawed but intriguing Quatermass and the Pit (aka Five Million Years to Earth). Still, with an average rating of exactly 2, hardly a banner year (so far).
Added Irving Wallace's The Seventh Secret to 1986; the novel currently has the distinction of last place for the year, despite competing with Poltergeist II.
Added Picnic at Hanging Rock to 1975, making it a no-brainer for that year, as its only competition right now is Ken Russell's Tommy (which, in terms of execution, is Picnic's polar opposite).
